Astra Apartments is an all-suite boutique hotel that has been elegantly clinging to the side of Santorini’s caldera for fifteen years now, growing gradually in size and brushing up its original rooms every winter.
The Suites
The 26 suites are well serviced by the plentiful and pleasant staff and all are furnished in a simple but stylish fashion with artwork courtesy of legendary local artist Mati. We really recommend one of the four brand new Deluxe Astra Pool Suites or the stunning, minimalist Astra Pool Hotel Suite which is one of the biggest in Santorini.
The facilities
There is no restaurant (although they have plans to build one), but all the suites are kitted out with kitchenettes and besides, Imerovigli has some of the most charming and affordable tavernas on the island. The pool is generously-proportioned (for Santorini, that is), but splashing out that bit extra on a pool suite is well worth it if you can.

Children
Children of all ages are welcome to Astra Apartments & Suites. Fold-out sofas may be used for an extra bed and baby cots can be provided. Certain suites are connected through their balcony. Additionally, babysitting services can be provided for a charge.
