Located in the heart of Seville, in the old quarter of Barrio Alfalfa is Corral del Rey. Once a 17th-century Casa Palacio, the Corral Del Rey has been meticulously restored and converted into a small private boutique hotel just five minutes walk from the Cathedral.

The facilities

Once inside the Corral del Rey, Roman marble columns and original wooden carved beams surround walls bedecked with fine art and are accentuated by a unique lighting system. As guests of this boutique hotel head upstairs to the roof top garden they can admire the plunge pool and panoramic views of the Cathedral and Giralda.

Guests of Corral del Rey are invited to indulge in the restaurant’s decadent gourmet menu while relaxing in the restaurant’s more casual feel. Or, guests can arrange a dinner in the boutique hotel’s historic vaulted lower ground cellars which were discovered during restoration of this 17th-century building.

The rooms

Situated around the galleries of the central courtyard are Corral del Rey’s six bedrooms. Divided into three categories; superior, deluxe and junior suites, all the rooms have an eclectic mix of both ancient and modern styles. Bathrooms are generously decorated in limestone and marble, and equipped with walk-in rain shower. Each room has its own individual, creative design offering an “in room” state of the art sound and vision system as well as plasma screen, I-Pod docking station and DVD player.
