"The smallest five star luxury hotel in Lech, this mountain retreat boasts an excellent restaurant and cuckoo-clock charm."

Gasthof Post is the smallest five-star hotel in world-famous Lech, situated in equally well-known Arlberg, Austria. Previously a royal staging post, this luxury hotel has been passed down in the family for over 60 years, and they now belong to the select circle of the renowned 'Relais and Chateaux' hotels.

The facilities

A delicious continental breakfast is included in the bargain room price. Inside the luxury hotel restaurant, reasonably-priced steak, fish and goulash are served. The cooking is individual, flexible and healthy, including a diet program, whole food and traditional regional specialities. Why not enjoy a drink at the bar after dinner?

The Zeppelin Museum, School Museum shops and lakefront are only a 15-minute walk away. During the summer you can revive yourself in Lech’s untouched nature, and in the winter you can ski on the ‘Alpspitze’ or do ski touring on the well-prepared ski trail.

The luxury hotel has all the latest amenities any guest would need: a gift shop, shoe shine, fax/photocopying and Internet services. Take advantage of the free Wi-Fi, bicycle rental and packed lunches.

The rooms

The 39 rooms in this luxury hotel are clean and simple and decorated with pine wood furniture. It is well worth exploring this cosy getaway, where you will always feel an intimate security imparted by the rooms, each of which have their own architectural characteristics.

The rooms in this luxury hotel are all individual. Each has its own history, but still leaves guests space to create their own holiday dreams. They have antique Alpine country furnishings and timelessly elegant bathrooms with hand-painted tiles made in Holland. And if you put your shoes outside your door at night, you will find them there the next morning beautifully cleaned.
